I can't believe I didn't know it was up here!
I must reiterate, I love this piece. The idea of leaves pulling her towards the Earth while the chain pulls her to the Underworld is genius. She wants to be up above in the sunlight, but is forced to go to Hades' dark domain. The contrast between the two worlds, and what Persephone wants to do, also comes through in the peaceful, caressing way the leaves intertwine around her fingers and arm versus the harsh chainlink, grasping her at the wrist with a steep angle towards the underworld. And her eyes are so bright, so vivid.
I am sorry to tell you this, but I will never stop fangirling about this piece. <3
